EBTV Station Manager, Dave Ambrosy, has retired after over 42 years of service to the East Brunswick community!

While attending EBHS Dave began working for the township in December of 1980 for the Library maintenance department. Curious about the work happening in the TV studio he applied for a production assistant position where he learned camera and editing skills working on programs like “This Week in East Brunswick,” “For Art’s Sake” and “Spotlight on Education.”

Dave’s work has received many awards from the National Hometown Video Festival, Jersey Access Group Video Awards and New Jersey’s Cable Awards for Programming Excellence.

Dave worked as a Video Producer and Supervisor until 2013 when he was promoted to the EBTV Station Manager until retirement at the end of 2022.

Dave has served on the Executive Board of the Jersey Access Group, an organization comprised of Public, Education and Government access stations throughout the state.

Dave is proud of his family’s history working in East Brunswick Township. His mother Barbara worked for 37 years at The East Brunswick Public Library, his wife Kathleen spent 43 years teaching in EB Public Schools and his daughter Megan worked for 6 years at the Camp Daisy Program. The Ambrosy family combined for 128 years of service.

Dave is also an accomplished drummer having recorded and toured extensively with his band The VooDudes among other projects.
